Last Friday was Kherray's last day with the company (How come everybody seems to be leaving?!) We went to Hotpot Culture at Marina Square for steamboat (Dammit! It killed my diet plans) and by the time I finished, my tummy was aching badly :~ ( (It must be the prawns, beef slices, veggie, fruits, chocolate fondue and banana cake) Ran to the ladies' to purge the evil toxins : P Proceeded to Gloria Jeans to sip a hot mug of green tea (Hmmmm...) before flagging a cab home. The fare came to 15 bucks (Damn)
As for Saturday morning, I woke up bright and cheery because I was going to Johor Bahru with King Kong! Waited for him at my void deck and hopped into his rented car before making our way to the Causeway. We were happily chatting and making plans (We were supposed to meet up with Sunshine Boy, Sharon & Isaac, Jacintha as well as Adeline at Jusco Tebrau) when an isolated rim from some bastard's car flew towards us. During that very split second, King Kong steered away but could not escape the bloody rim and we ended up with a punctured tyre
: ( Anxious, we shifted the car to the road shoulder; and using his wit, he went to the boot, took out a spare tyre and began fixing it with the spanner and all the bolts and knuckles (Argh!) As if it was not misfortunate enough, we had to endure an hour of traffic jam. By the time we reached Johor Bahru, we were dying of hunger : (~ Despite the constant rumbling of our poor tummies, we went to the car workshop to repair the spiked tyre and to ensure that everything was in order (I do not want to die in a mishap) before we conducted our search for A&W (We happily thought that it was just a corner away and our tummies would contain food within minutes. But we were so wrong...) We kept losing our way and I was so angry that I told him I do not want to have A&W >: ( (A hungry man is an angry man) Ultimately, we settled for KFC (Imagine that very instance my teeth sank into the tender and juicy chicken thigh..)
After tunch, we walked around the shopping mall hoping to burn away the calories and to empty tummy space for the seafood dinner later on. Initially, I thought I could buy some Mango clothings (Sale! Sale! Sale!) but did not as I could not find something that I really liked : / As we were afraid that we might lose our way again, we drove around, trying to find where Senibong Seafood Village was - We found the place within half an hour and we had a sumptous seafood dinner of kale topped with garlic, chilli crab as well as steamed grouper : P We ended the trip with a movie - Hancock and we totally regretted watching it (It sucks. Big time)
As for Sunday, it was nothing much - We went to Ayer Rajah Food Centre to have lunch. We had mee goreng, Indian rojak as well chicken nasi bryani washed down with sugar cane juice : ) As I was uncomfortable in stale clothes, I went home to bathe and change into fresh and clean clothes : ) We continued our day by strolling around Rocher Centre (I was amazed by the shops that sell figurines of Chinese deities as well as kumanthongs), sleeping on buses, having dinner at Ghim Moh Food Centre, grocery-shopping at Jelita Shopping Centre and strolling home : )
