If both Fat Boy and I were still together, we would be celebrating our 6th year anniversary. Yes, 6 years. One of the longest romance marathons in my life. Somehow..I have mixed feelings on this day. Sad that everything fell apart before we made it...yet relieved that both of us are released from the painful grasp of the vicious cycle of going nowhere..somehow, someone has to be the bad guy and break the chain (in this case, it's me) Anyway, Happy 6th anniversary :~(
Last Wednesday evening, I met up with King Kong at Raffles Place MRT station and together we took the train to Eunos. We walked to Joo Chiat to have the famous Fei Fei wanton mee (Yummy! I like its traditional taste very much, albeit the few pieces of char siew and wanton) Feeling full, we strolled to Four Seasons Durian Cafe in hope to squeeze more tummy space for durians! (The thought of durians is making me salivate now : D~) We sat by the roadside and enjoy the wonderful D24 durians (You should see his greedy look while eating them) before taking a bus home. Oh, before taking a bus home, we continued to walk to Parkway Parade as I thought it might burn some of the calories : P; I remember squatting by the toilet bowl

As for yesterday evening, I followed King Kong to Pasir Ris as he needed to fulfil his temple duties by burning the big box of joss paper (Yesterday was the 15th of the lunar month...) By the time he finished, it was already 8pm and both of us were famished : ~ ( As if it was not late enough, we had to take a train to Simei before we walked about 10 minutes to the Chinese restaurant that he wanted to introduce me : / I must say that I was not happy during the journey >: ( Gave him a cold shoulder (I was too angry for words) and instead of screaming at me for bad behaviour, he coaxed me, in hope of calming the tense situation : ) I was so relieved when I touched the first morsel of food and I went from an angry to a happy girl almost instantly : )
Will be meeting Aunt Maddy and Bro for dinner tonight. It has been quite sometime since I have a good dinner with them..Though the venue and timing have not been confirmed yet, I believe it's the company and not the food and ambience that counts : )
*Sigh* To think that I spent all my Fridays with Fat Boy in the past.......
