Mild Hangover

Woke up feeling very dehydrated and lethargic. Felt like snagging an MC to snooze at home, but the thought of the endless interviews for the day made me crawl out of my cozy nest (> . < )#

Quickly popped a royal jelly capsule, drank my honey water and went to have a quick shower. When I came out of the bathroom to change into my black workhorse clothes (it was the perfect outfit for the sickening Monday) and comb my hair, I was happy...I did not need to spend 10 minutes to twirl my flyaway hair because I had none! : )

Rushed out of the house earlier because I had to go to the Guan Gong temple to offer incense - It was his birthday and it happened that I am his "god-daughter". Daddy had sworn me to him when I was a kid because he felt that it was good for my well-being. However, I am guilty to say that I hardly offer incense to him; perhaps only once in a blue moon. Frankly speaking, I dare not ask anything from him because I am not very devoted in the first place...Anyway, it didn't hurt to pay respects to him on his big day; after offering incense to him, I quickly walked to the MRT station to catch the train to work.

Went to Movida with Skinny Bones yesterday - He had just signed up for membership and he was entitled a free bottle of champagne on his birthday (You've got it, it was his birthday yesterday) and because the next was a Monday, all his friends rejected him. No choice, despite feeling tired from the earlier hearty lunch of sushi and udon, in addition to Swenson's ice cream, with Aunt and Brother, I agreed to accompany him. It didn't require much effort to make one happy on his birthday eh? Besides, being all alone on one's birthday is a sad thing.

While sipping bubbly and munching oily fries and charred chicken wings, we chat about work, friends and such. It felt good catching up; it had been quite sometime since we had the opportunity to talk. Satisfied being tipsy, we went home.

It was indeed something different on a Sunday night : )
