Time To Go?

After much hoo-ha (The termination of Evelyn Chee and the resignation of Sharon) that occurred during the past 2 weeks, I felt very demoralized and sick (Yeah, severe cough, think psychology plays a great part in the healing process?) Coming to work became a greater drudgery and there was absolutely zero mood for closing any deals : / The more I thought of rotting in the dead working environment any longer, the angrier I felt...Time to leave? (I really hope to give Vicious Lady 2 tight slaps before I leave, really. I cannot imagine she had the power to kill the laidback culture of the company. Damn!)

I must say that I was very happy when I first started out with the company. Everything was at its initial stage and office politics was non-existent. Though the working process needed lotsa fine-tuning and telemarketing was tough as extra effort was needed to create brand awareness, everybody lived in harmony. Everybody wanted to make it work and grow together alongside with the infant brand...

With that positive energy and hard work, we succeeded in growing the tiny clientele and candidate pool; but Boss did not appreciate our effort. He was mean, stingy and began his military regime - Fine systems for late-comers, cold treatment towards those who took slightly longer luncheons and knocked off on the dot (Sick eh?) Regardless, we still took pride in our sales achievements and tolerated his nonsense...until....

She was previously an Operations Manager with the Cannery Group - Left the job as she felt that she could not be accustomed to night life. Initially, she came to register as a part-time foodtaster and as fate prevails, became our colleague. She was a regular face in our wine and dine outings and ultimately, became a common rival due to her greed...

It is really sad that the fate of the company has to be in this manner...the effort of laying bricks and mortar at its initial stage has all gone down the drain, all because of her greed and his pure stupidity and myopia...I must say that I love this company, but not its management...Somehow, I hate to go, but I know it's time for me to say goodbye.
