As usual, there was nothing much in the workplace yesterday (Peaceful eh?) At the strike of 6, both Adeline and I happily skipped out of the office (Yay!) We went to Sakae Sushi in Wheelock Place to meet up with Rightie and King Kong : ) As we were early, there was no need to queue : ) We chat and sipped green tea while waiting for them to arrive. Rightie was terribly late; by the time she reached, the three of us had filled our tummies : )
As we were too full with carbs and fish, there was simply no room for dessert, which was earlier planned by Adeline : / (Good thing as well as I did not have to agonise over whether to eat or not : P ) We proceeded to Acid Bar for an ice cold - The place was kinda cosy, but as we were seated near the entrance, it was quite warm and after a while, we decided that it was ridiculous to pay for discomfort : / Headed to Ice Cold Beer and indeed, it was much better (at the very least, we did not feel warm) We ordered fried chicken wings and Hoegaarden (I still prefer Heineken) Chatted and played pool (and won King Kong : P ) before we dispersed and went home. Had wanted to stay longer, but Rightie had to fly to Vietnam for a business assignment the next morning...(Had wanted to wake up at 4am to wish her bon voyage; apparently, I overslept : ( )
