Exactly a month since I am officially Mrs Ee, exactly a month (and going) which every single day is immersed in marital bliss and exactly a month which every night we enjoyed our pillow-talk before bedtime : D (I love this feeling very much. Can it go on and on and on...?)
Last Thursday, I met up with Sworn Sista at Ikea for dinner. Though I did not fancy the fried rice with a piece of fried chicken thigh, otah and fishcake, it was more of the company; It had been a long time since the 2 of us spend time together and indeed, there were lotsa stuff, mainly revolving our families, to catch up : ) We took a slow walk to her home before I walked back (It can be quite liberating to have your me-time once in a while)
As for last Friday, both Fat Boy and I went to City Square in Johor Bahru to fix our crowns of glory - He, for a trim and I, for hair rebonding. I seriously couldn't stand my messy mane. Argh! Anyway, we walked out of the salon happily before heading for dinner at Old Town Cafe and yes, I had my usual Ipoh hor fan with extra beansprouts and a hard-boiled egg accompanied with a glass of refreshing iced lemon tea : D~ Had wanted to catch "The Orphan", but the timings were either too early or too late, hence, we decided to forego the movie and go back to Singapore to watch MioTV : P
Did I tell you why I feel so fat recently? Last Saturday, I, together with the SPI members as well as Adeline, Berline and PF, went to the ice cream buffet at Ion Orchard. In addition to 6 scoops of ice cream (4 scoops of yummy raisin, 1 scoop of green tea and 1 scoop of chendol) with lotsa chocolate sauce, strawberry and blueberry puree as well as almond flakes and chopped nuts, I also had a bowl of canned peaches and lychees with a dollop of red bean mash : O (Isn't that scary enough?!) After everybody had their fill, we proceeded to Merlion Park via One Fullerton (It's always good to burn off those calories!) and took some pictures before having spicy steamboat for dinner : P~ (As usual, I wolfed down prawns, mutton and pork) As if it was not enough, our last program of the night was hanging out at Kallang MacDonald's. I drank cups of sugarless tea hoping that it would remove the sickening oil from the spicy steamboat >: (
Sunday was a day of recuperating - The only time Fat Boy and I woke up was to watch some TV and get ready for dinner at some eatery in Bedok. Due to promotion, a big claypot of curry fishhead, fried tofu with green mango strips and claypot herbal chicken cost less than 30 bucks. Wow wow wow! As the night was still young, we went to the food fair at Expo (it was an utter disappointment) and Loyang Tua Pek Kong temple to offer incense before we headed home : )
