Rest & Relax

The moment the masseuses' palms were on my achingly tired back, I felt an instant relief and I could literally feel the rush of zillions of endorphins. Felt terribly relaxing and snoozed. Once the 90 minutes were up, I walked out of the massage parlor rejuvenated and charged-up. Last time, I did not know how to appreciate massages; I thought it would be a complete waste of time and money because I did not have the aches and sores at that point of time. After crawling to the working society which requires one to sit on the non-ergonomic chair 10 hours straight, excruciating aches at the shoulders and lower back is inevitable. The only cure? Deep-tissue massages. I love aromatherapy, which is all about deep-tissue massages using essence oils. They do help to detoxify the system which ensures clear complexion and regulates metabolism.

After the wonderful relaxing detoxifying session, I went to watch "Dead Silence" - A horror movie from the directors of "Saw". Initially, I was quit
e skeptical of the show because of the non-attractive poster. It was about a ventriloquist's curse on an influential family, which its generations would be killed (in an awful manner, of course) by the former. Left the theater intrigued, quite impressed by the twist at the end of the show : )

By the show ended, hunger was up to my neck. We quickly walked to the famous Nasi Bryani stall at the 3rd level and we ordered their specialty - Chicken Nasi Bryani. The rice was super duper fragrant and the chicken, tender to the bite. Despite a disciplined dieter, I polished the whole plate of rice. Yummy yummy. Satisfied and ha
ppy. Sometimes, it's always good to indulge : )

Proceeded to Summit to buy a pair of shoes because I am only left with 2 pairs of decent shoes and a pair of leopard-skinned flip-flops for working purposes. As I was chided by Adeline for buying only black shoes, I decided to buy a non-black pair of shoes! Hmpf! Ultimately, I bought a pair of royal purple shoes~!~! In addition, I also trotted to Mango to buy a faux snake-skinned belt. Blew 100RM (Which is equivalent to $50) on both items. Quite a steal, I believed : )

After I used up all my money, we left for home happily
. Was wondering when I would wear my belt and shoes : ) Perhaps one of these days. In the meantime, they would remain in my "fashion heap" - New and unworn purchases of clothes, shoes and God-knows-what : )
